Description(2) page letter on recto and verso to Mas Iwate from Tatsumi Iwate at Det. QMC Camp Carson, Colorado, on September 16, 1942. Tatsumi writes that he doesn't want to work on Sunday, that George Wada answered his letter, that many of the Nisei soldiers stationed there work as drivers, that there are about 40 American Japanese and all of them are Private First Class or better, that Texas is a hell hole without trees or rivers, that the first issue of their Camp Newspaper (Camp Carson Mountaineer) was released the week before, and that he is designing it in his way to show them what a guy with some talent can really do.
