Description(2) page letter on recto and verso to Masaji Iwate from Tatsumi Iwate at QM Detachment Camp Carson, Colorado, on August 27, 1942. Tatsumi writes that he has never been sick since he joined the army, that he has never been sick for 10 years, sorry to hear that Mas is quitting the good job, that he's glad the plane is work good but too bad he can't see photographs of Mas's craftmanship, shipped sketchbooks, camera, hiked to Pueblo with a buddy to make some photos of the Colorado State Fair, many new movies are coming to camp and the War Dept. cut the price from 20 cents to 3 nickels because of a shortage of fine actors and propaganda, wrote to Mari after 6 weeks, 200 people came to Granada from Merced to do house cleaning, that Colorado is better than Arkansas. Ends letter with a drawing of himself and his initials, "T.I."
