DescriptionHorizontal wooden barracks nameplate sign with name "T. TAKETA" carved in relief. The letters are approximately 3 x 2 ¼ x 1/8". The period after "T" is carved as a triangle. Dark brown stain is worn away unevenly. There are 2 holes on the left and right edges. Possibly made for Tom and Toshiko Taketa of Heart Mountain. [The other half of the nameplate is JANM ID # 2015.100.95, a "Mr. and Mrs." plate.]
