Description6-page letter by Tatsumi Iwate to his brother Mas Iwate in the Jerome concentration camp on November 2, 1942 from Camp Hale, Colorado. Tatsumi writes about he doesn't like writing on ruled paper because he feels as if he were back in class of Miss Skioch's English, how he dashed to the mess hall at the call of 'chow!,' mess kits, guard duty, working on cartoon posters for soldiers, about a sixteen year old who sends him copies of Tulean News Magazine sections and drawings done by young boys and girls of Tule Lake, and regulations of Camp Hale.
