DescriptionPostcard size painting of barracks behind barbed wire fencing. Power lines and telephone lines are visible and connected with wires. In the background are brown-gray hills and craggy brown mountain tops. The foreground is green grass and a brown road leading towards the barracks. The sky is a wash of pale blue. The barracks are detailed in fine lines of black on grayish-green. A portion of the beige paper is unpainted, especially in the sky and above roof tops on right side and bottom edge.
