Description4 photographic prints and 2 negatives: b&w ; From Dachau concentration camp, Germany. Fred Yasukochi (the donor) was in the 522nd Field Artillery Battalion during World War II, which had contact with concentration camp survivors and occasion to encounter German concentration camp facilities. Photographs include 1) entrance arch with "S.S. Compound" sign, 2) barracks and guard tower inside barbed wire, 3) crematory sign, and 4) a row of narrow enclosures with fenced fronts (presumably dog kennels, as they look similar to other photos of Dachau dog kennels).
