Description1 photographic print: b&w; Panorama of Seinan gathering in North Hollywood park in 1937. The group sit under a large banner in Japanese that reads, "Rafu Seinan kyōgikai sōritsu ju-shūnen kinen shukuga enyūkai." Translation: Garden party celebrating 10th anniversary of the establishment of Los Angeles Southwest Council. In center is a large group of men holding trophies and seated, to the left of them is a lined cloth with boy scouts sitting in front, to the right are girl scouts with a few small children sitting with them or playing in the background.
Written Japanese inscription on bottom of photograph reads, "Hokubei Rafu Seinan kyōgikai sōritsu ju-shūnen kinen shukuga enyūkai nōsu hariwuddo pāku ni oite Shōwa jūninen hachigatsu jūgonichi".
