Dear Molly,
I want to thank you for your Christmas card, post-card, and the nice gift. You really shouldn't have done it. It was so sweet of you to remember me.
Just now I'm in Lawrence, Kansas, a 45 minute train ride from Ht Mo. It's a nice place. I'm staying at the home of my roommate. She invited me over for the vacation. IT certainly was sweet of her, because everyone at the school usually goes home and leaves me flat.
I have a terrible cold now. I wish I could get rid of it. I had it before I came here and I don't think the traveling helped it a bit.
I hope your Christmas holiday will be a merry one.
I wish to thank you for your gift again. You don't know how much it means to me to get a gift, especially when they're so rare with me.
Well, be good Molly and I'll write again.
