Hi ya Molly!
Well, here I actually a truly be! Sorry I bet things drag but I just couldn't help it-graduation & all just around the corner!
Well, kid, how ya been? Hope you're in honky-dry condition 'cuz that's what ours is! Mother's wrong except my head!
What'cha been doin' lately? Still attending college? Me-I'm in my final test & zoom-I'll be out! Boy-am I glad!
How's the 'ole neighborhood these fine, dowdry days? Mickey & Nat still goin' strong? Gee, tell me the latest gossips. Anythin' good cookin' on the front burner? Have many new faces boom in and around our place? Goodness, but I'm itchy for some home news. Land was the latest dope!
Here, things are pretty much calmed and quieted down! It's quite windy & dusty outside as I write this letter-only thing me could do on a day like this is to stay in & sleep, or do as I'm doin' now!
I just can't seem to believe that I'm a goin' to graduate this June! Gosh, but time flies! I "shore" do want to relo-cate after graduation but that still remains to be seen. Mom gave me the "Go" sign already so-I'll probably stick out here. Probably send up in Cleveland. This I'm there Caucasian friends there so-no worries. Saving the summer they're offerin' to High School girls cannery work in Salt Lake City and Mom says for me a Mica to go on this job. I don't know if I want to go or not-I'm not cut out for such "technical" (???) work such as that! I'm tryin; to arouse my full interest in it so that we 'kin go together.
Goodness, but there are oodles & oodles of questions I'd like to ask you but can't seem to put them down on paper! First of all, how's Kenny & (???) ? My friend got a letter from Albert yesterday & we discovered that he is now overseas. Goodness I'll have to keep posted with youse constantly or I'll miss out on on all that's goin' on.
Getting' to the more brooden side the fence, I'm now workin' in an office here in camp! Now, ain't that hard to believe?! Goodness, but I "shore" hate that office and people in it thrown in. I swear they slave drive you to your bones & is it misery! I can't just transfer from there to another office 'cuz I was placed there by my shorthand class. But I heard that we're to be shifted around pretty soon so-I'll be out of there--& I hope very soon!
If I typed I wouldn't mind it so much but I file all day long & boy, does that develop a headache! Hugh-it's terrific!
Hear from Sadae lately? I finally found her--! Man, did her letter come an a surprise. I swear she writes once in a life time! Boy, she "shore" havin' herself a time out there in Poston Wadro. Sako & Mary Inouye "shore" do get around too!
Saw the pic "Higher & Higher" the other nite & man-did it smell to high heavens! Did you see it? Give me Bing Crochy any day-any day of the week. Movings are the only thing I look forward to every week. It, at least, breaks the dull monotony of camp.
The Sr. Prom is the 29th of this month! Man-all the gals are sayin'they ain't a goin' to go-I'll probably end by twiddlin' my thumbs prom nite. What a sad case if I do.
The G.A.A. is sponsoring a "Play Da" this comin' Saturday & have invited all the neighboring small-town High Schools in the Valley. Forced to go & see it! I bet it'll be free too!
Well kid, I've rattled on endlessly so I shall be sayin' "Adios"! Give my best regards to your Mom on this "Mother's Day" & ditto your dad.

Well so long-
Love,
Chiyeko
