Dear Molly:
Hi! I certainly hate to disappoint you, but I'm here in Chicago! You should've told me sooner, and I would have changed my destination! I was able to see Sandie while she breezed in and breezed out at the railroad station. I guess you've heard from hers from Oberlins, Ohio. You know that Sadae is out in Minneapolis, don't you?
Thanks for the congratulations! Yep it certainly feels swell to be out of school, but it shore [sp] looks like I'm headed for another. Don't ask me where, cuz I really don't know. At present I'm working, but I hope to quit by Sept.
How's everything back in LA? Having your fun I'm just beginning mine but it'll be shorter since my man will be on swing shift next week and I hardly every see him.
Last nite I went to see "STars [sp] and Spars" by the Coast Guards (on stage, and saw "Going My Way Vic Mature was there. He certainly has a nice physic!!
I've been bowling too. I'm not good tho', but it's fun - yeah, I almost went with the ball once. More fun! Been down to the beach bicycling - It'd be less warm to walk, instead of pump. By the way, do you still ride on your bike, or have you outgrown that stage?
I've seen lots of old acquaintances since the good old days in L.A. They've all changed so much. Sandie seems so much more taller and She's lost that tom-boy look. In fact, she seemed like a lady.
Say, Molly how about a picture huh? Come on now - Maybe I'll give you one? Say, did I? Have you had a chance to see our annual? I don't know who'd have one, but ---.
Well, I better get some work done. Be good and write again.

Love,
Lillian
