DescriptionA woman, Mine Okubo, stands in profile in the left foreground of the room she shares with her brother Toku and a college student they met at camp. Two blankets stamped with "U.S.", partition Mine's area. One of the men is lying down in his cot while the other sits and reads in his. At the foot of his cot, rests a sack with the number 13660. A small bookcase is placed against the wall at the head of the cots. Trunks, wooden crates, shoes, books, a cooking pot and cans are scattered about the room.
