DescriptionA woman with flipped forelock of hair, Mine Okubo, stands at entrance of horse stable 50, her living quarters at Tanforan Assembly Center, California during World War II. Okubo stands in a coat at left framed in doorway with number "50" appearing below window. Swinging half-door divides two rooms; two folded spring cots lean against wall in the rear room at right.
