The announcement writes about how more than a year ago, the WRA announced the program of closing the Relocation Centers operated as wartime residences for the 110,000 persons of Japanese ancestry, who were evacuated from their West Coast homes in 1942. Nine of the ten have already closed. Tule Lake will close Feb. 1, 1946. The Boston, Mass. district office have served 300 resettlers in parts of New England, will close Jan. 31.
