DescriptionHand made book of Japanese food recipes typed on 54 sheets of 8" x 5 1/2" paper bound with a metal fasteners and covered with folded 9 1/2" x 6 1/2" brown manila folder. The front cover is decorated with fancy hand lettered ink script "RECIPES" followed with Japanese in parenthesis and signed "Natsuye Fujimoto." All the pages appear to be carbon copies so there must have been several copies made. The book contains recipes of Japanese foods from soups, entrees to desserts for home use. The recipe book was prepared by a Nisei daughter of parents who operated restaurants in Los Angeles before and after the war.
