DescriptionA book of Okinawan Bingata samples, 35 all together: 2 swatches, 12 plates of pieces printed in primary colors and 21 plates of woodblock prints. Cover of box is yellow cloth-covered with small bingata textile swatch; On outer cover of inner sleeve is Ryukyuan seal, on inner covers are two red dragons facing inward, kanji with the left dragon reads "Jun-ame," kanji with right dragon reads "Chou-fu." Each plate is numbered on bottom left with kanji numbers. The earliest book of its kind to introduce Bingata. Old Ryukyu Bingata Explanation by Fuyu Inami in a separate volume.
