DescriptionWelcoming poster given on arrival to Amache. Consists of a 10.5" x 8" sheet of paper. Background color from top to bottom - light green blended to orange and at the bottom light sand color. Cartoon drawing in water colors. On the left newly arrived male internees carpet bag valise by his feet - having his hand shook in welcome by camp mascot "Lil Neebo" - holding a rattlesnake (Suzie) on his left arm - turtle (lil Joe) and long eared dog (Johnson) by his feet. Written at top "Welcome (in red color) Tuleans!" (in black lettering. Across the bottom "to" (in black). Amache (in white) compliments of the silk screen shop. 6E Rec Hall (in black lettering) There is a small sketch of the camp barracks and guard tower on the right by Lil Neebo's knees.
