Description1 unframed drawing, graphite on paper. The drawing is of a nude female figure. Her entire figure is depicted. She is facing forward, with her proper left hip jutting outwards. Her arms are lifted and cover her face which is turned to her proper right. At various areas around her body (head, neck, back, thigh, calf, ankle, shin and foot), numbers are indicated (likely as an academic notation to note muscle location). The drawing is done very loosely in a gestural manner. The artist expresses the form and position of the woman's stance through repeated lines. These lines help the artist discover the shape of the woman's body and capture her body's expression.
