DescriptionOne (1) blue card holder and participant identification card from the New York World's Fair, 1939-40. Identification card seems to have been water damaged, Ryuko Yamashita's face no longer visible, photograph taped over. Card reads, "World's Fair of 1940 / In New York / For Peace and Freedom / Ryuko Yamashita / Japan 5/18," includes signature for Ryuko Yamashita. On top right corner is typed, "No. XS 34223."
