Description1 photographic print: b&w; Japanese delegation walking at Nichols Field, 19 August 1945 to begin negotiations for the terms of the Japanese surrender to end World War II. Likely taken a few seconds after 2022.48.8 and shows only three Japanese delegates and an American official. Two Japanese officers in uniform have swords on their hips.

Written on back in graphite pencil, "K-9" and "13" written sideways.
