DescriptionUnstretched. Image of the Carmel Mission in Carmel, CA. The foreground hosts an abundance of grass and bush in various shades of green and turquoise with dark branches, and a tall tree (left) with several slanting branches framing the tallest structure of the mission. The viewer is thus positioned on the left side of the mission during the day (late?); details including the ornate top of the minaret and shadowed front-facing entrance indicate where the sun may be hitting the building during the day. The upper right corner of the image is dark gray and patches of blue can be seen in the gray shading.
