DescriptionTru-Line Wire-o Composition Book; A diary starting on December 7, 1941 by Paul Masuo Hiratsuka after arriving at a LA Police Dept. for questioning. Entries were made everyday until January 18, 1942.

Entries are daily activities & Paul Masuo Hiratsuka's thoughts as he wrote them down. His last name was changed from Hiratsuka to Hiratzka. Japanese men were taken to E. 1st Police Headquarters for detention, later sent to county jail. Many diary notebooks have newspaper articles inserted in them.

His diaries covered from Dec. 7, 1941 through 1963 when he passed away. Diary 1 of 25 of his English diaries.
