Dear Mollie,
Received your letter yesterday. From what your letter says you must be pretty, pretty busy.
Just think you're a Senior "B." Gee, but the years go by so fast. How was the last graduation? Did they have it in the afternoon or night? We started late so our semester ends on Feb 19. Thirty students are going to graduate, they're going to have a prom and a senior ditch day that's tomorrow. Graduation in on the 19th. Some how I wish I didn't don't have to graduate in June and yet I want to. I don't know what to do after I do graduate. I guess the only thing for me to do is get a job like the rest are doing, but I sure would like to go out. Of course you know my mother won't let me. I'm too young, she says. I wonder when I'm going to grow up.
I guess you're still writing to Sandy. She seems to be busy nowadays. I guess you'll be shocked when you see her. She changed. When I say changed I mean changed. Well I guess you know all about it any way.
Do you ever hear from Junko? She seems to be having a lot of fun down there. One body said that she has a steady boy. She didn't tell me, I just said someone told me.
By the way will you please do me a favor. "Please?" I would like to subscribe to the "Rough Rider." Is there any kind of an arrangement so that the school can send it to me, or if I send you the postage will you send it to me? I know you're busy. Maybe it would be better to let the school send it to me, so you won't be bothered. If you can do that for me I'll appreciate it very much. Thank you.
By the way did I thank you for the box of candy? You know I'm so forgetful. It was gone in no time. That kind of candy is very scarce.
Well I guess I better close now, because it's time to eat so I say aloha for now.

Sincerely your
friend always
Violet

P.S. Enclosed is 35¢ for the "Rough Rider." The reason why I want it is because if I were there it would be my last term and I want to read the news of our graduating class.

Thank You

Be Good
P.S.S. Let me know how much postage it takes to send it out to me. I'll send it out right away
V.S.
