Description1 photographic print : black & white photo ; Eight young men, all Japanese American, standing and posing to be harvesting sugar beets by cutting off the green leaves while holding the sugar beet in one hand. They are all dressed in warm clothing with caps or hats, wearing work gloves and jeans or trousers, standing along side of a truck for hauling away the beets. The grounds around them appear to have been cleared of the beets with weeds protruding around them.
