DescriptionFifteen pages two staples at top. Preface sheet. "This is Not the Title of the Article" by James K. Fisk, chairman of the Calif. Joint Immigration Committee of San Francisco, Cal. However, the imprint it must leave on the mind of the uninformed American is obvious., The point is clear: The propaganda facilities of an org. as powerful as the Calif. Joint Immigration Committee are being utilized to discredit & defame Americans of Japanese ancestry & their parents. Mr. Fisk's article was submitted for publication to a national magazine which has readership at 20,000 persons. It has not yet appeared (Sept. 19, 1940) But its potentialities are obvious. In order that Nisei & Isei leaders may be better informed on the nature of changes & accusations being made against them verbatim copies of the article by Mr. Fisk are being made available by the Equality Committee. Mr. Fisk's article written Sept. 4, 1940, Calif. Joint Immigration Committee #5367. "Because of their unassimibility & the impossibility of competing with them due to their low standards of living, Japanese immigrants have never been really welcome in the U.S."

Support the understanding and appreciation of the Japanese American experience.
