Sketches divided by two blue horizontal lines.
Top sketch depicts an old couple in kimono seated at a bench with a man dressed as a samurai seated behind a table in the background ; elder man identified as Kusunoki. Two partial sketches of men visible from chest up are inserted to the left and right of couple ; the man on left, Ageno, wears a hat and inclines his head to the right ; the man on right, Kaneko, has a mustache and hat inclines his head toward the viewer.
Bottom sketch of three women in kimono, two seated, one standing. The woman seated on left, Ito, sits with hands in lap and head inclined. Woman on right, Ayano, stands facing the viewer and has a bow in her hair.
