Description1 b&w postcard of a section of a mural painted on the interior brick of the Dragon's Den in Los Angeles' Chinatown. Mural painted by Benji Okubo and Tyrus Wong. The subject appears to be three male figures dressed in historic Asian robes. The central figure displays his left proper profile and is holding a basket container on his back. Next to him is a bearded man with a fan. A much smaller figure of a man leans over his shoulder. The painting is rendered in flowing calligraphic style with a strong emphasis on linear movement. Although it is difficult to interpret the subject out of context, it appears that the figures represent a scene from a story or myth.
