Description1 oil painting of red and brown farm house, barn and other buildings. White chickens are in the foreground on brown dirt with green grass and trees. In the background is the Hudson river flowing through the painting horizontally. Low undulating hills meet the grayish sky. Beautifully framed with double frames gilded in gold and the space between is black with gold curly cue designs in the corners and middle of four sides.
